Motteram Bowie & Ham have introduced a new service for our clients, a Client Portal.
The Client Portal is an easy to use, self-service product which provides you with secure access to your financial documents at any time. Using the same 128 bit encryption technology as internet banking, it is a secure way for us to send you documents, reducing paper and postage times.
With a few clicks of the mouse, your tax return can be digitally signed by you using ATO-approved technology and we will be notified that it is ready to be lodged. So much easier than printing, signing and sending a signed copy back to our office.
Not only that, but because your tax returns and correspondence from the ATO are stored on the Client Portal, you have 24-hour access to them whenever you need them for finance or to send to your financial planner. No more trying to locate the paper copy of assessment notice from 2 years ago. Simply login, download and email it.
The Client Portal can also be used by you to securely send documents to us, including files which are too large to email (no movies please!) so is a more secure way than email to send us your financial information.
What will this cost me? I hear you ask. The answer is, nothing.
By providing this service we are doing our bit to help the environment and the added bonus is that we are providing better service to you at the same time as you will be receiving correspondence from the ATO on the same day that we do.
